The government has designated November 29, 30 and December 1 as National Vaccination Days. During these days, all Filipinos ages 18 and older and youth ages 12 to 17 are encouraged to get vaccinated as a contribution to the protection of every Filipino family from COVID-19 and its variants.

The mass vaccination drive aims to inoculate at least 15 million Filipinos in the three days of the National Vaccination Days. This is part of the ongoing collaboration between the government and other sectors to protect all Filipinos from COVID-19 and its variants now that vaccine supplies are arriving for the entire Philippines.

All Filipinos aged 18 and over and youth aged 12 to 17 will be vaccinated. Vaccination continues in Local Government Units (LGUs) before and after the National Vaccination Days.

Just contact your LGU for registration. Registration for National Vaccination Days is still the same as the current LGU registration, whether online or manual.

You must also register before the day of vaccination.

For ages 18 and up, bring your:

• valid ID
• medical clearance, if required

For teens ages 12 to 17, bring:

• proof of the child's relationship to the parent (baptismal certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
• valid vaccine ID, and
• valid parent/legal guardian ID

The vaccinating partner should bring the following:

• Notarized Authorization Letter
• Affidavit of parent/guardian under oath with a public official such as a notary public or authorized staff (such as a barangay official) and showing a valid government ID
• Barangay Certification from Barangay Captain / Punong Barangay

Medical clearance is required before getting vaccinated for any of the following conditions/illnesses:

• Autoimmune disease
• Persons living with HIV (PLHIV)
• Cancer/malignancy
• Those who underwent transplant
• Currently being treated with steroids
• Those who are just in bed or have a fixed illness

Only young people with the disease will need medical certification before getting vaccinated. Young people ages 12 to 17 years without the disease do not need medical certification before being vaccinated.

Booster doses are also included on National Vaccination Days.

As of Nov. 22, 2021 both healthcare workers from the A1 priority group and senior citizens and those with other illnesses have been given the green light to receive the added dose.

The designation of one's own vaccination site is also up to the LGU. Just follow the official announcement of your Governor or Mayor. (PIA-NCR)
