It is being owned and managed by beautifician Rosie F. Herman, who proved that even a pandemic  could not stop a person from thriving thru a bagful determination and a passion for what he or she is doing.

The new salon came as a sequel to Herman's six-month old salon in Roxas City which closed down months due to stiff competition, high operational costs and lack of business plan.

Under a new location and a new business name, Cute Cuts Beauty Salon envisions to empower women of all ages to feel confident in their own skin by offering high-end cuts and hair care at a reasonable price.

The uphill was conquered with the help of the Negosyo Center's micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) growth - oriented programs.

She joined the Kapatid Mentro Me - Money and Market Encounter mentoring program through the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Go Negosyo initiatives.

"The project really helped me a lot in scaling up my salon business," she noted.

Part of the program is providing MSMEs with intensive coaching and mentoring sessions by industry practitioners/business owners of different functional areas of entrepreneurship.

She has also been a beneficiary of Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa program of DTI which enabled her to receive additional tools needed for her salon business.
