A garden that nurtures different species of plants, Las Pinas Nursery and Botanical garden is a must visit for botanists and plant enthusiasts as well. Walking amongst the greenery allows our minds to rest, relax and recover.

It started out as a project of the Las Pinas City Government aimed at preserving and nurturing different species of plants mostlly used as ornaments  throughout the city. However, the city government saw the potential and enetually the small garden progressed to become a botanical park for for the public to relax and enjoy.

The garden houses numerous kinds of plant life. From ornamentals, herbs (Tarragon), fruit bearing trees (Calamansi) and vegetables(eggplants) and many more.  Various blooming flowers also abound such as sunflowers and roses.

Being a government funded project, the botanical garden is essentially free for public visit. In addition, the city government who manages the place also gives away free gardening materials such as soil, fertilizers, verrmicomposts/ vermicasts, and seeds for plant enthusiasts who wanted to add some more plants it in their own garden. A decision which shows how the Las Pinas City Government advocates for  urban gardening and food security as well.
