Resto offers free pizza for vaccinated individuals in Ilocos Norte

LAOAG CITY, June 28 (PIA) – Good news for those who are vaccinated against COVID-19!

A food restaurant in Laoag City called “Fremantle Pizzera Al Fresco Dining” is offering free six-inch pizza for diners who have received either first dose or complete vaccination.

Those who would like to avail of this perk must present their original COVID-19 vaccination card and a valid ID to prove they have been jabbed against the viral disease.

According to its owner, this is one way for private businesses to contribute in increasing vaccine confidence among residents in Ilocos Norte by giving them perks in exchange of getting inoculated.

In addition, this also promotes safe dining in the new normal.

“On our part as a restaurant owner, our goal is to have safe diners. In that way, we can assure that our customers are safe and so with our workers. We wanted to make sure that we are also providing a safe and healthy environment not only for our customers but to our workers as well,” said Michiel Torres Harrison, resto owner.

True enough, diners are assured of safe space as the resto promotes outdoor dining.

When asked if there are customers who availed of the promo, Harrison said they are happy to note that a lot of individuals have received this perk of free pizza.

Fremantle Pizzeria, whose main branch is in Laoag City, takes pride of its Italian and Australian cuisine “where everything is made from scratch from the sauce, dough to crust, homemade pastas, breads, pastries.”

It also boasts of its pizzas cooked in a brick oven.

Its other branch is also located in Batac City wherein vaccinated customers can enjoy free pizza as well.

As of now, the Provincial Health Office continues to roll out vaccines for priority groups A1 (medical frontliners), A2 (senior citizens), A3 (people with comorbidities), and A4 (essential workers). (JCR/AMB/MJTAB PIA Ilocos Norte)
