CLARK FREEPORT ZONE (PIA) -- Philippine Air Force (PAF) has named Clark Development Corporation (CDC) as Affiliated Reserve Unit of the Year for the second time.
PAF Commanding General Lt. Gen. Allen Paredes presented the award to the state-owned firm which was received by CDC Assistant Vice President for Business Enhancement Noelle Mina Meneses during the celebration of the 74th PAF anniversary held inside Clark Freeport Zone.
Meneses serves as the group commander of the CDC reservist group, which is also known as 2320th PAF Affiliated Group Reserve.
PAF cited CDC’s support to various initiatives that contribute to nation-building such as outreach activities to families and communities severely affected by COVID-19 pandemic.
The CDC reservist group also distributed personal protective equipment to frontliners, and provided education and training programs for Indigenous People communities among others.
At present, about 200 CDC employees have undergone and completed Military Orientation Training administered by PAF.
It covers reception activity, lectures, Immediate Action Drills, Firing or Marksmanship activity and Field Training Exercises. (CLJD/MJSC-PIA 3)
