ODIONGAN, Romblon (PIA) -- The Rural Health Unit of Odiongan on July 8 announced that they will be offering free rapid antigen testing to all residents who have symptoms related to Covid-19.
In a Facebook post, RHU Odiongan encourages the public who have symptoms like dry cough, cold, fever, or sore throat including the loss of taste to get tested for early detection of the virus.
Testing is free and will be shouldered by the local government unit of Odiongan.
Patients also do not need to present any letter from a doctor to get tested.
To schedule free testing, the public may call Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs) or the Rural Health Unit of Odiongan through the followings hotlines: 567-6015, 0961-053-2010, and 0919-079-8428.
As of July 7, RHU recorded 138 active cases of Covid-19 in town where 134 of these are local cases. (PJF/PIA MImaropa)
