PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- In line with the celebration of the Police Community Relations Month this July, the men and women of the Eastern Police District (EPD) continues to strengthen its campaign against COVID-19.

EPD’s District Community Affairs and Development Division distributed IEC materials on anti-criminality, anti-illegal drugs, and health and safety tips against COVID-19, as well as PNP Journal Magazine.

Police personnel also handed out free face masks to the public. Likewise, amplifying the existing health safety protocols through ‘Oplan Bandillo’ to protect themselves from COVID-19.

‘Oplan Bandillo’ is a community awareness and information dissemination program of the Philippine National Police against criminal elements and was eventually used to encourage people to observe the minimum health safety standard protocol since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. (NCRPO/PIA-NCR)
