QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- The National Covid-19 Vaccination Operations Center issued added guidelines on Tuesday, July 27, to outbound overseas Filipino workers due for deployment within the next four months from the intended date of vaccination.

OFWs who will be returning to work in countries that require vaccination against COVID-19 may show their Overseas Employment Certificate as proof of deployment issued by either the recruitment or manning agency.

The recruitment or manning agency may facilitate the pre-registration of A1.8 individuals to the Local Government Unit’s (LGU) data system for scheduling purposes, as stated in Advisory No. 53-A signed by Health Undersecretary Myrna C. Cabotaje. (MTQ/PIA-IDPD)
