GUINSILIBAN, Camiguin (PIA)—With the theme, “Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health,” the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Guinsiliban has set various activities to celebrate the Linggo ng Kabataan 2021.

“With the challenges brought by this pandemic, and also in accordance with the IATF COVID-19 guidelines and health protocols, this years' activities will still be conducted online. The youth sector remains resilient and steadfast in conquering the significant issues of the nation and practicing social inclusivity among fellows,” Barangay North Poblacion SK Chair Wishley Anne Marie Cañete said.

Targeting to highlight the meaningful participation of the young people in restoring the planet and protecting life, while integrating biodiversity in the transformation of food systems, North Poblacion SK will hold the Kuharantin Mobile Photography Contest as well as the face mask and poster making contests, August 7-27.

The barangay will also launch the community-based multi-services for children and cleanup drives.

For their part, South Poblacion SK will hold the TikTok challenge for boys, Kanta Kabataan, and slogan making contest.
