PH raises alert level 4 in Afghanistan

QUEZON CITY (PIA)--The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) raised the alert to level 4 in Afghanistan and ordered the mandatory repatriation of Filipinos due to the uncertain security situation in the country.

The Department said 35 Filipinos were evacuated to Doha, Qatar, and joined the chartered flight to Manila on Tuesday, August 17.

Bassed on DFA data, there are at least 132 Filipinos in Afghanistan.
