PDG Ramirez is hopeful that the other clubs in the district will also submit their application for the global grant.
“Every dollar, every project, every rotary volunteer, every Rotarian has built the TRF of tremendous values to thousands of people in hundreds of countries around the world,” he said.
The TRF has now reached more than $4 billion from life-changing sustainable projects which have started from the initial contribution of $26.50 during the then RI President Arch Klumph in 1917.
“We are very proud to be part of this advocacy of sharing, helping, and caring, and may we not hear the expression of appreciation from the beneficiaries but I can assure you that many are enjoying a better life because of the TRF,” he added.
Meanwhile, D3770 also recognized the three clubs contributor with the highest annual fund per capita. The Rotary Club of Santa Maria Bulacan with $387, followed by Meycauayan Northeast Bulacan of $285.71, and Mutya ng Santa Maria Bulacan with $264.10.
“The award for the top 3 annual fund per capita will be decided at the end of the rotary year,” the PDG said.
