PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- Defense Secretary Delfin N. Lorenzana and Minister Park Minshik of the Ministry of
Patriot and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Korea (ROK) signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) over the weekend in Seoul, Korea.

The MOU serves as a framework of cooperation that will further deepen Philippines-
ROK veterans cooperation.

The signing was witnessed by USec. Ernesto G. Carolina, Administrator of the
Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) from the Philippine side and Dir. Kang, Yun-Jin,
International Cooperation Division, Ministry of Patriot and Veterans Affairs (MPVA).

The Philippine Ambassador to ROK, Maria Theresa B. Dizon-De Vega, and descendants of
