TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan (PIA) - - The regional director of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology here has expressed jubilation after the success of the conduct of a Trade Fair featuring the various products made by the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

BJMP Regional Director Jail Senior Superintendent Ma Annie Espinosa said the trade fair which was conducted at Robinsons Place Tuguegarao generated a total sale of P46,886.00 in just one day.

Espinosa said the products displayed and sold are handmade PDL from different jails of the region such as paintings, bayong bags, beaded bonsai trees, lanyard and coconut lamp shades.

The activity was initiated by the bureau’s Regional Welfare and Development Division (RWDD) in celebration of the Community Relations Service Month. (OTB/MDCT/PIA Cagayan)
