LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, June 23 (PIA) – The Department of Agriculture (DA) will host its “KADIWA ni Ani at Kita” program in this town on June 24.
 
The program, which will be conducted at the Lingayen Civic Center, will allow 15 producers and farmers to directly access consumers without going through a multilayer marketing structure.
 
The vendors are expected to bring their produce such as eggplant, bitter gourd, bottle gourd, tomato, ladyfinger, squash, fresh fruits, fish, among others.
 
Ramy Sison, staff of the Provincial Agriculture Office (OPag), said the activity aims to strengthen the relationship between the producers and consumers and provide affordable, accessible, and healthy agri-fishery products to the public.
 
"Hindi lang naman pagtitinda ang purpose nito. Gagawin natin ito upang magkaroon at makabuo ng maayos na samahan at pagkakaibigan between sa producers at mga consumers natin dito" he said.
 
The activity will begin at exactly 8a.m.
