PNP sends off troops to quake-hit Abra

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday deployed personnel to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Abra.

On Thursday, some 43 troops from the PNP were deployed for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to the province of Abra, which was hit by the recent earthquake.

PNP also provided some food, water, sacks of rice, and pairs of shoes to be distributed to residents affected by the earthquake.

The national police likewise extended their prayers of love and care to thos who are affected, and expressed their hopes for fast recovery of the situation. (PNP/PIA-NCR)
