BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - - The province has 71 COVID-19 cases anew with the towns of Bayombong, Solano and Kasibu leading the most number of cases.

Dr. Jocelyn Bumidang, assistant provincial health officer, said Bayombong has 25 cases, Solano with nine and Kasibu with eight cases.

She said Bagabag has seven cases, Dupax del Norte and Aritao with five cases each, Bambang with four, Diadi and Villaverde with two cases each and Kayapa, Quezon and Ambaguio with one case each.

Bumidang said the mostly affected COVID-19 patients were aged 30-40 years old.

“We need to continue with our compliance to safety protocols and encourage our constituents to follow them,” she said.

Since March 2020 to July 28, 2022, COVID-19 has affected 21,622 Novo Vizcayanos with 20,846 recovered while  705 died. (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya) Photo from PIA
