NHA hands P20M IP dorm to NVSU

BAYOMBONG, Nueva vizcaya (PIA) - -  The National Housing Authority (NHA) turned-over the P20 million Indigenous Peoples Dormitory to the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) here recently.

NHA Regional Manager Ferdinand Salas led the handing of the symbolic key to NVSU Officer-In-Charge Ruth Padilla, witnessed by Governor Carlos Padilla, NCIP Provincial head Atty. Roderick Iquin, Bayombong Mayor Tony Bagasao and other NVSU officials.

Sales said the two–storey IP Dorm will a big help to the students of the NVSU since it can accommodate at least 86 students.

NVSU OIC Ruth Padilla said the NHA-funded IP Dormitory will benefit their IP students coming from the upland and remote barangays of the province.

"This dormitory will make our students more comfortable to stay and study while being away from their homes,” she said.

Padilla said the project will be of great help for their students considering that 90% of their student population belong to the IP sector.(OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
