LDS police positive to promote collaboration with revitalized KASIMBAYANAN

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)--The Lanao del Sur Police Provincial Office (PPO) is optimistic that they would be able to promote once again the spirit of collaboration among the Philippine National Police (PNP), the religious sector, and the entire community. 

This, following the launching of the revitalized community mobilization dubbed as Kapulisan, Simbahan, Pamayananan (KASIMBAYAHAN) Monday, September 26. 

“We, in the PNP, are doing our best. Positive ang pagtingin namin dito… Positive rin naman ang response ng community,” said PCol. Jibin Bongacayao, the provincial director of the Lanao del Sur PPO.

Bongcayao explained that this nationwide initiative enhances prior activities of the PNP so that it may be pursued anew for the peace, order and development of the whole society. 

He shared that with the successful renewal of this program, some undertakings are lined up for future implementation involving the public, such as the medical mission, continuous security operations, provision of assistance to civic organizations, and distribution of relief goods. 

“Ginagawa na natin ito actually but we would like to revitalize these activities para ang community ay magsupport [Actually, we are already doing this but we would like to revitalize these activities so that the community will support]. We will inculcate in the community that peace, order and development is everybody’s business, lalo na ang anti-drugs at iba pang anti-criminalities sa ating lugar [especially the anti-drugs and other anti-criminalities in our place],” said Bongcayao. 

Alongside its positivity of having a productive KASIMBAYANAN, the Lanao del Sur PPO likewise strengthened its call to the populace here to take part and play their respective roles to achieve peace and order towards prosperity. (CRG/PIA-10/Lanao del Sur)
