CATPO facilitates creation of Kasimbayanan Community Adviser Volunteer Officers


VIRAC, Catanduanes (PIA)- The Catanduanes Police Provincial Office (CATPPO) spearheaded the election of Community Adviser Volunteer Officers for Kasimbayanan in Catanduanes through its Police Community Affairs and Development on November 16 at Camp Francisco Camacho, Virac, this province. 

Prior to the election, a forum was held where the importance of Kasimbayanan (KApulisan, SIMbahan at PamaYANAN) for the progress of the country was discussed including tesponsibilities of Faith-Based volunteers and possible challenges in the implementation of the program and how it will be conducted in the province,  

Elected officers for provincial level include, Pastor Francis T. Ocray (president); Ptr. Nestor Niño Borre (vice-president); Pasta Jane Clavel (secretary); Ptr. Elpidio Valenzuela (treasurer); Ptr. Joseph Dayawon J.r (auditor); and IMAM Nasser Dimatunday and Pstr Domingo Ortiz (PIO).

As Kasimbayanan Community Adviser Volunteer Officers, they are to manage and supervise the implementation of programs of Kasimbayanan in the province of Catanduanes.

In his message, Lt. Col. Louie Manuel Dela Peña, said that the activity was part of the PNP’s intitiative in partnership with the church and the community to achieve true progress and to have united community where peace aand order prevails.

Election of officers for municipal level was also held in the different towns of the province. (EAB-PIA5/Catanduanes)
