CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) led by Acting Provincial Director Col. Julio Go and the City Government of Ilagan joined the 159th birth anniversary of Andres Bonifacio.
Go was joined by other men and women of the Isabela police and city of Ilagan Councilor Jay Eveson Diaz who offered a wreath to the monument of Andres Bonifacio in the city.
The theme for the 159th birth anniversary is “BONIFACIO 2022: Kabayanihan at Pagtindig sa Makabagong Panahon.”
The Veterans Federation of the Philippines - Ilagan chapter, Isabela Masonic Lodge No. 60, Order of Amaranth, Knights of Columbus Ilagan Council 3705 and Jugis Legio Dragonis Incorporated also joined the event.
Diaz said the heroism of Andres Bonifacio is remembered yearly as his sacrifices benefited Filipinos nowadays.
He said that may every Filipino posses the patriotism shown by our heroes especially Andres Bonifacio.

Police stations in the cities and municipalities also participated the 159th birth anniversary of Bonifacio through wreath laying in the monuments in their respective areas of jurisdiction and display of tarpaulins and posting of social media cards were conducted. (MGE / PIA Isabela)
