IBA, Zambales (PIA) -- Philippine Information Agency (PIA) signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Department of Education (DepEd) Zambales Schools Division Office.
 
The partnership covers implementation of programs, projects, and activities for the youth.
 
DepEd Zambales School Governance and Operations Division Chief Ailyn Eay said this partnership would help the students of Zambales to become responsible leaders. 
 
"Since you will provide training and lectures, we expect to have a transformation not only in learning but in the proper behavior of the youth. I hope we can further enhance the good values in children, and number one to that is volunteerism," she said.
 
For his part, PIA Regional Director William Beltran expressed his gratitude to DepEd Zambales.
 
"We will be seeing more activities in terms of enhancing the skills of our learners in Zambales and molding them to become more productive citizens of this nation," he said. 
 
Beltran also mentioned that PIA could give the youth public speaking skills, basic journalism skills, and cyber-readiness in terms of skills enhancement.
 
"It is really nation building, youth mobilization that we are after in terms of this partnership, so we are just really looking forward positively whatever the activities that we will partner with PIA and DepEd Zambales," he furthered. (CLJD/RGP-PIA 3)
