Registration for Pasig's KAAGAPAY for unemployed, displaced workers until Feb. 28 

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Pasig City Government is encouraging residents to register and have themselves profiled for the Katuwang sa Agarang Hanapbuhay (KAAGAPAY) program by the city’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

The KAAGAPAY registration officially began on Monday, Feb. 13, and will last until Feb. 28, 2023.

The “community-based package assistance” program seeks to offer short-term alternative employment opportunities to constituents who have either lost their jobs due to displacement or been unable to find employment. 

The vacancies range from street sweeping for emergency or temporary employment to recycling and urban gardening for skills training. 


Who are the qualified applicants? 

The bonafide residents of Pasig aged 18 to 75 years old are eligible to apply for the KAAGAPAY program. 


What are the requirements and important processes to remember? 

Interested applicants are required to bring a photocopy of their valid ID with triplicate signature, certificate of residency issued by the respective barangay, 2x2 ID picture, and application form which is made available at the venues on the date of their schedule. 

The assigned PESO personnel at the processing site will check the completeness of the requirements as well the accuracy of the personal information they included in the form. 

Upon verification, all submissions will be collated and the applicants are instructed to wait for a call indicating the schedule of their interview as well as assessment prior to deployment. 


When and where should you process your application? 

The schedule of application and location of the processing sites per district are as follows: 

District 2

Feb. 13 - Ilaya Covered Court (Brgy. Santolan), Ilalim ng Tulay next to the Covered Court (Brgy. Rosario), and Function Hall (Brgy. Dela Paz)

Feb. 14 - 3rd floor of the Barangay Hall (Brgy. San Miguel), Covered Court next to the Parish Church (Brgy. Maybunga), and the 3rd floor of Sta. Lucia Barangay Hall

Feb. 15 - Damayan Covered Court (Brgy. Pinagbuhatan) and the Multipurpose Hall next to the Barangay Hall (Brgy. Manggahan)

District 1 

Feb. 20 - Barangay Sto. Tomas Multipurpose Hall and Covered Courts of Brgy. Sta Cruz and San Nicolas

Feb. 21 - Barangay Hall of Oranbo, Amphitheater (Brgy. Kapitolyo), and Covered Courts of Brgy. Pineda and San Antonio 

February 22 - Kalinangan Covered Court (Brgy. Caniogan), Barangay Kapasigan Covered Court, Ground floor of Multipurpose Hall (Brgy. Ugong), and in front of Bagong Ilog Barangay Hall 

Feb. 23 - Brgy. Sta Rosa Covered Court, Romulo Bldg. of Sumilang Barangay Hall, Mini Plaza behind the Brgy. Hall of San Jose, Multipurpose Hall (Brgy. Bagong Katipunan), and Covered Court of Brgy. Buting 

Feb. 27 - Bilog Covered Court of Barangay Palatiw and the Covered Courts of Brgy. Sagad and Malinao 

Feb. 28 - Covered Courts of Brgy. Bambang, Kalawaan, and San Joaquin
The application period set by the local government is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for all venues.
