DAGUPAN CITY (PIA) -- The Pag-IBIG Fund-Dagupan Branch will conduct a housing fair from February 21 to 22 at the CSI The City Mall here for its members in Pangasinan who want to avail of housing loan programs.

Edison Iglesia, branch head of Pag-IBIG Fund-Dagupan, said the event aims to further promote housing programs of Pag-IBIG Fund, assists members on their application, and walk them through the step-by-step process in availing housing loans.

Iglesia said the housing fair is open to all members and would-be members from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

He said Pangasinenses who are not yet members are also welcome to attend the fair as they will also process membership of those who wish to avail of various benefits from Pag-IBIG Fund.

Members and would-be members are advised to bring with them their valid identification cards for verification purposes.

“That is the only requirement during the fair. The rest will depend on the purpose of their housing loan and they will be guided by Pag-IBIG Fund on the step-by-step procedure on how to avail of housing loan programs of the agency,” he added.

Iglesia said some 119 acquired properties in Pangasinan and 120 others from the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet and Abra will also be offered to members as part of the housing fair.

He said the acquired assets, which are from the La Union Housing Business Center, are available for bidding for all the members until March with discounts of up to 45 percent.

“We have also invited various developers accredited by Pag-IBIG Fund to offer their housing units sa lahat po ng mga miyembro na naghahangad na magkaroon ng sarili nilang bahay,” he said.

Likewise, Iglesia said interested members who wish to buy assets will have an opportunity to check the assets or units virtually through an audio-visual presentation during the home virtual tour.  (JCR/AMB/EMSA/PIA Pangasinan)
