She added that usually liable for the violation are husbands, former husbands, boyfriend, ex-boyfriend, lesbian partner and any person concerned with a dating and or sexual relationship with a woman.
“Commonly committed by the perpetrators based on reported cases at the various local police station’s Women and Children Protection Desk are physical, psychological, sexual and economic abuses,” she noted, adding that abused women must not be afraid to report to authorities as there are a lot of government agencies that can help them on their concern.
