DPWH Regional Director Reynaldo Alconcel said the Evacuation Center building will provide safe and secure shelter during emergencies, disasters and calamities.

“The Sta. Fe Evacuation Center can provide temporary shelter for the people who have to evacuate their homes due to calamities such as typhoons, floods, and earthquakes,” he said.

Alconcel said the evacuation center building is equipped with essential amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, comfort rooms, playrooms for children, a consult room, prayer room, clinic, and a breastfeeding room.

“It is designed to cater the needs of individuals seeking shelter during times of emergency, ensuring their comfort and well-being,” he said.
