ILIGAN CITY (PIA)-- Mipirma ang Iligan Light and Power Inc. (ILPI) ug ang Department of Education (DepEd) Iligan City Division ug Memorandum of Agreement aron sa paghatag og tabang sa mga magtutudlo ug mga estudyante.
Tumong sa ILPI nga suportahan ang Technical Vocational Program sa mga estudyante sa Senior High School (SHS) ubos sa DepEd diin kapin sa 13 ka mga national high school sa dakbayan ang target nga makabenepisyo.
Sumala ni ILPI Chief Executive Officer ug President Ralph B. Casiño, ang ilang pakigtambayayong sa DepEd makatabang sa pagpalambo sa kahanas ug kahibalo sa mga estudyante sa SHS.
"It’s something that we feel very excited about because it will enable underprivileged and deserving students to improve their education and hopefully make them more productive citizens," sumala ni Casiño.
Si Casa C. Belandres, ang group manager for human resources and administration sa ILPI, miingon nga ang panag-uban nagpakita kung unsa sila ka mapasalamaton sa publiko sa pagsuporta sa ilang negosyo sa daghang mga tuig.
"This is a way of giving back to the society at large here in Iligan City. We are here, serving the public. In return, we are also giving back what we benefit from this business that ILPI indulges with," sumala ni Belandres.
Samtang, si Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Shambaeh A. Abantas-Usman nalipay sa ilang pakigtambayayong sa ILPI aron mapalambo pa ang edukasyon sa mga kabatan-onan. (LELA/PIA-10/Lanao del Norte)
