CITY OF ILAGAN,  Isabela (PIA) - - A total of 155 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4P) beneficiaries from Cauayan City have already graduated from the said program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The DSWD 2’s Pammadayaw na Paggradua na Pantawid Pamilya in  Cauayan City was attended by DSWD Undersecretary for Operation Group Jerico Francis Javier and Assistant Secretary for Specialized Programs Florentino Loyola Jr held at F.L Dy Coliseum on March 17, 2023.

Usec. Javier expressed his thanks to the city government officials of Cauayan and to the DSWD Regional Field Office 2 for helping the agency in uplifting the lives of the 4Ps in the city until 155 of them finally graduated from the program and now are self-sufficient.

He said the 4Ps is a program of the government aims to give the marginalized sector in the country the necessary support for their families for a better living condition.

“Ang inyong pagtatapos sa 4Ps ay ebidensiya o patunay na ang Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program ay naging epektibo upang maitaas ang antas ng inyong pamumuhay at makaahon kayo kasama ang inyong pamilya sa kahirapan,” (Your graduation from 4Ps is an evidence that the program is effective in uplifting your lives and you will leave the bondage of poverty including your families) Javier said.

He said that the DSWD is honored to see the 4Ps who have graduated as a proof that the program is effective

Javier also said that the graduation of the 4P beneficiaries in the city will give an opportunity to other indigent families who can also be beneficiaries of the government poverty alleviation program.

Meanwhile, DSWD 2 Regional Director Lucia Alan and Cauayan City Mayor Caesar Dy Jr signed Specific Implementation Agreement (SIA) ensuring that the program will continue in the city for the 4Ps beneficiaries. (OTB/MGE / PIA Isabela)
