QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that the implementation of the Expanded Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) or number coding scheme is temporarily suspended this coming Holy Week.
In an advisory, the temporary suspension will take effect on the following dates:
April 6, Holy Thursday
April 7, Good Friday
April 8, Black Saturday
April 9, Easter Sunday
April 10, declared a regular holiday in commemoration of the Araw ng Kagitingan
MMDA also reminds motorists to plan their travel ahead, obey traffic rules, and always drive carefully. (MMDA/PIA-NCR)
