CSPPO intensifies operations in March

Naga City (PIA) –  The Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office released on Tuesday, April 4, its report from the series of buy-bust operations in the month of March this year.

These operations led to the arrest of individuals considered high-value targets, the confiscation of several kilos of illegal drugs, as well as illegal firearms and ammunition.

The CSPPO conducted 111 operations and arrested 113 wanted personalities in the province.

Two individuals were arrested for illegal possession of firearms while  49 firearms and 68 various ammunitions (number of bullets) were recovered from separate  operations.

A sum of 177.4 grams of shabu and 53 kilos of marijuana were recovered during the 24-day buy-bust operations. About 36 individuals were arrested in its illegal drug directives.

About nine illegal gambling operations were conducted and P6,738 pesos was confiscated from around 30 arrested individuals.

In its illegal fishing campaign, 41 violators were arrested from seven police actions; and two persons were arrested from six illegal logging enforcements. (With reports from Danilyn Borre, Ateneo De Naga University-PIA5/Camarines Sur)
