QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, PGEN Rodolfo S Azurin Jr. invited the public to visit the PNP Museum located in Camp Crame, Quezon City where visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of police service in the Philippines.

This,after the PNP Museum, a repository of the rich history and traditions of law enforcement in the country was relaunched on Monday (April 17).

The PNP Chief led the ceremony highlighting the courage, sacrifices, and triumphs of the police force throughout history.

The PNP Museum use of cutting-edge technology, such as holographic displays, allows visitors to interact with the exhibits in a way that was not possible before.

"This upgrade from the traditional museum experience allows the PNP to showcase the different facets of its history and culture, including its accomplishments, challenges, and sacrifices,” PGen Azurin said.

During the occasion, the Chief PNP expressed his gratitude to those who contributed to the success of the project.

He particularly acknowledged the Police Community Affairs and Development Group (PCADG) in coordination with Tagapagtaguyod ng Sining at Kultura ng Pilipinas (TSKP) and all partner agencies for their hard work and dedication that made the museum a reality.

"Ang buong hanay ng kapulisan ay naririto upang maging katuwang na pahalagahan at pagyamanin ang sining at kultura ng ating bansa,” Azurin said.

He added that the PNP Museum will serve as a reminder to fellow Filipinos of the PNP's significant role in the nation's history and motivate everyone to strive towards a brighter, safer, and more progressive Philippines.

"PNP Museum also aims to encourage the coming generation of police officers to maintain and carry on the tradition of excellence that the PNP has built over the years,” Azurin said. (pnp/pia-ncr)
