QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Good news! The City Government of Makati announced the extension of the renowned editorial cartoonist, Larry Alcala’s exhibit tour.

According to Makati City, the exhibit tour dubbed “Larry Alcala: Slices of Life, Wit and Humor” is extended until June 15, 2023, at the Museo ng Makati.

Meanwhile, starting next week, visitors may proceed to the museum from Tuesday to Sunday, form 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Alcala is the illustrious artist behind the best-known and longest-running serialized comic strip by a Filipino ‘Kalabog En Bosyo’ and ‘Islaw Palitaw.’ 

He was also posthumously conferred the National Artist for Visual Arts in 2018.

The traveling exhibition is jointly presented by the Filipino Heritage Festival Inc. (FHFI), the Metropolitan Museum of Manila, and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). (Makati/PIA-NCR)
