QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Commissioner Albert dela Cruz of the Climate Change Commission (CCC) announced the existence of a climate change inspired movie entitled, "Thanks for the Broken Heart" that can help spread awareness and be an inspiration to fight the climate change issue.

Dela Cruz said that they also coordinated with MTRCB Chairperson Lala Sotto for some information and education aspects regarding the worldwide climate emergency issue.

"Today we also signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with MTRCB and Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas, Inc. (KSMBPI) on activates involving climate education and information," said dela Cruz.

The CCC is also in contact with the private sector regarding the issue of global climate change.

It was the issue of climate change that inspired movie titled "Thanks for the Broken Heart" which is participating in the 2023 Manila Film Festival that can be seen from June 16-24, 2023. Singing idol Lance Raymundo and 2022 Miss Glamour-look Philippines Gerlaine Silva star in the movie. (PIA-NCR)
