DIADI, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - - The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of the Namamparan Bridge here.
Engineer Marifel Andes, DPWH 1st District Engineering Office chief, said the P57 million Namamparan Bridge which was funded under the Regular Infrastructure Budget for 2022 was completed in April this year.
She said the new bridge features a two-lane parallel design comprising two spans, each measuring 20 linear meters, and an additional span measuring 15 linear meters.
Andes said the new bridge alignment is located at the downstream section, running parallel to the existing Mabey and Johnson Steel Bridge.
“This infrastructure project plays a crucial role in improving transportation connectivity in the area. Specifically catering to southbound motorists, the Namamparan Bridge is expected to facilitate the efficient and timely delivery of essential goods and services to the local community,” she said.
Andes said the new Namamparan Bridge will not only benefit the residents of Diadi but also contribute to the economic growth and development of the province . (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
