Pagtataguyod ng public health program, binigyang-diin ng DOH-CAR

BAGUIO CITY (PIA) -- "Pareho pala 'yung konsepto ng pagkakampanya for a public health program sa pagkakampanya natin for our political leaders.

(PIA-CAR)

"What is more important about the SIA actually is not the campaign itself. The SIA was done not only to address the impending outbreak but more importantly, for us to harvest substantial lessons to advance our routine immunization and other public health interventions," si Kilakil.

The policy support from the LGU level and the resources that they have provided have made the morale of human resources high and motivated them to reach children eligible for vaccination, dagdag ni Kilakil.

We hope that all the innovations developed and discovered through these  five elements will be sustained to propel more alliances for public health, not only for immunization, aniya.

"With our health sectors' strategy of enable, protect, care and strengthen, we hope that in the near future, our families, individuals, and communities would have improved confidence in vaccination, will have strengthened primary care services, and institutionalized surveillance systems so that we will not have any more vaccine-preventable disease cases or outbreaks. Every child is protected, and the future that we envision is we will not do anymore supplemental immunization," dagdag ni Kilakil.

(JDP/DEG-PIA CAR)
