Senator Go goes on 3-site visit in DavNor; pushes more superhealth center construction

DAVAO DEL NORTE (PIA) -- Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go engaged with the people of Davao del Norte, July 13, for three important events.

The Senator first led the inauguration of the P150 million new Davao del Norte Sangguniang Panlalwigan Building, where he was the guest of honor and speaker.

With him were  Tagum City Mayor Rey T. Uy (former vice governor), Vice Governor De Carlo “Oyo” Uy, former Governor Rodolfo P. del Rosario, and Vice Governor Victorio Suaybaguio.

The Senator then  led the ground breaking for the construction of  the Super Health Center  at La Filipina in Tagum City.

He dropped the time capsule as the ceremonial of the construction, with Tagum City Mayor Uy and City Health  Officer, Dr. Arnel Florendo, Provincial Dept of Health (DOH)  Officer DMO IV Ian Patrick Vidal, Provincial Health Officer Alfredo Lacerona.

Go said six Super Health Centers will rise in Davao  del Norte. Immediately before the Tagum City Super Health Center, he inaugurated the same in the municipality of Carmen and in the Island Garden City of  Samal.

He told the local chief executives of Davao del Norte that the  same health facility will be constructed in Panabo City (also in Little Panay), and in the Municipality of Talaingod.

A super health center is a medium type of polyclinic which covers birthing services that may also include dialysis.

Senator Go is expecting a total of 322 super health centers to be inaugurated in year 2023.

During his visit here, he led in the distribution of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at the Energy Park, in Brgy Apokon, Tagum City

Aside from  AICS,  the Senator was on his usual way  of  giving away items to the indigent beneficiaries   of AICS.   (JMDA/ PIA Davao del Norte with photos from PNA)
