QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) reminds its members and pensioners to be wary of fake news on the recomputation of benefits.

In an advisory, the state insurance system clarifies news circulating on social media and text messages requiring all retired members and pensioners to go to the GSIS office to file for recomputation of benefits is not true.

The GSIS said that qualified retired GSIS members and pensioners who have benefit adjustments will receive a notification letter from them.
