QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Following the lifting of the State of Public Health Emergency, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) recently issued an order on lifting COVID-19 health protocols in public transportation systems.

Wearing face masks on train lines, LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3 is now voluntary.

Train commuters are also now allowed to make and answer phone calls but are reminded to be mindful of other passengers.

Likewise, commuters are reminded that eating and drinking inside the train is still prohibited and to follow train guidelines for safety. (DOTr/PIA-NCR)
