Novo Vizcayanos hail PBBM’s SONA

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - - Novo Vizcayanos praised the State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand Marcos,Jr. yesterday for fulfilling his promises to the country.

Multi-sectoral reactions point positive feedback on President Marcos’ programs for the welfare of the youth, addressing concerns and issues in the agricultural sector, needs of the health sector, provision of assistance to farmers and  Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the support of congress and senate, among others on his socio-economic road map.

Racquel Rosero, Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) student of the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) and Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) grantee, said she is grateful for the  program under President Marcos' administration along with various educational assistance from congressional representatives and senators as they can now augment their needed expenses for the coming school year.

She said the continuing Tulong Panghanapbuhay  para sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) and Government Internship Program (GIP) has benefited many youths in the country.

“We hope that President Marcos  will sustain his promises and succeed in attaining them  for this will help us as  students to finish our education without being hindered by educational materials shortage, especially we are now on the 21st century where there are lot of innovative technologies that require fast and accessible internet connectivity in  schools for us students,” Rosero said.

The KADIWA program of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. in Nueva Vizcaya.

Workers of the Provincial Integrated Health Office (PIHO) were also elated to the pronouncement of President Marcos to provide the necessary and long-awaited benefits for the health sector.

“Nasabi na ni Pangulong Marcos ang aming  hinihiling at umaasa kami na ito ay maibibigay sa lalong madaling panahon lalo na ang aming COVID 19 Allowance at bigas. (President Marcos has mentioned this in his SONA. We hope that it will be given as soon as possible, especially our COVID-19 Allowance and rice assistance),” the PIHO workers said.

A buko vendor, Regino Baysa, answers questions during an interview on his reaction about PBBM’s SONA.

Regino Baysa, a buko vendor also praised President Marcos for his administration and  achievements.

“Maganda, maganda ang kaniyang administrasyon. Madami ang naimprove na mga imprastruktura.(President Marcos’ administration is very good. He made many improvements on infrastructure projects),” he said.

An inmate of the Provincial Jail also praised President Marcos’ SONA, saying the national government should maintain its role in addressing the need for jobs and livelihood opportunities for the poor.

Gavino Ringor, a farmer from Barangay Casat in Bayombong town also expressed positive outlook on President Marcos’ administration.

He said the KADIWA Program alone has benefited farmers in marketing their products without the intervention of unscrupulous middle persons in the province.

Ringor said the continuing irrigation projects being implemented in Nueva Vizcaya will inspire farmers in producing more agricultural products for their income and contribute to  food security in the country.

(President Marcos’ administration is a big help for us farmers in Nueva Vizcaya. We have seen his care for us Ilocano farmers because recently, he gave us free fertilizers as assistance. We hope that he will continue his good platform especially for low-income families so that we can all benefit from it),” he said. (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
