It also included the Gawad Kalinga Foundation’s presentation of its “Kusina ng Kalinga Plus” school feeding project for the municipality and a lecture about nutrition and importance of a healthy diet for all.
In his message for the celebration, Philippine Information Agency director general Jose A. Torres, Jr. said that the Marcos administration thru the Department of Agriculture has rolled out the Kadiwa stores in the various parts of the country to make the quality harvests of the farmers accessible to the consumers at affordable prices.
“Kung ang bawat manggagawa, estudyante at kasapi ng komunidad ay malusog at masigla, mas mahusay natin na magagampanan ang mga gawaing makakatulong sa patuloy na pagyabong at pag-unlad ng ating bansa,” said Torres.
