MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA) -- The Provincial Tourism, Culture and Arts Office (PTCAO) of Lanao del Sur thanked participants and visitors to the photo exhibition on the conservation and preservation of bird species and Meranaw historical sites.

The photo exhibition was held at the Marawi Public Library on July 10-14, 2023, as part of the month-long 64th Araw ng Lanao del Sur celebration.

According to PTCAO Admin Aide Nor-ayn Mauten the event was a great opportunity to raise awareness on preservation of the natural resources and Maranao culture.

She was also happy to note that many visitors still want to learn and enrich their knowledge of Meranaw culture and the environment.

The photo exhibition was an initiative of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur through The Provincial Tourism, Culture and Arts Office (PTCAO), to further promote the culture and existing heritage of Lanao. 

This is also said to be a way for Maranao citizens to appreciate and learn more about what Lanao del Sur has. (JND/PIA-10/Lanao del Sur)
