QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Maynilad announced of water supply interruption in some parts of Metro Manila and Cavite due to network maintenance activities to be carried out for nine days, from Aug. 14 to 22, 2023.

Those who will temporarily lose water supply include several barangays in Bacoor and Imus in Cavite, Caloocan City, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Quezon City, and in Sampaloc and Sta. Cruz in Manila.

According to Maynilad, these activities are being done as part of the company's ongoing efforts to improve their service in the west zone.

Those affected by the water interruption were also advised to store water on the aforementioned dates but they also said they have tankers ready to deliver water to consumers.

Among the areas in the west zone served by Maynilad are the cities of Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon, Manila, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon, Valenzuela. It also covers some areas in Cavite such as the cities of Bacoor, Cavite, and Imus; and the towns of Kawit, Noveleta, and Rosario. (PIA-NCR)
