MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)--Attendees of the State of the City Address (SOCA) 2023 commended City Mayor Majul Gandamra for his comprehensive and clear SOCA as it highlighted the administration's accomplishments, priorities, and collaborations from various government agencies and non-government agencies during the past year.
"I can vouch [na lahat yun totoo] kasi documented din namin yun. And some of the instances of the operations andoon kami. Kung wala kami kasi maliit lang din yung work force natin sa MILG is binibigyan kami ng data about it. So very legit talaga yan at saka napansin niyo rin, it's not only for the Marawi and Lanao del Sur-MILG but the regional level," said Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) City Director Masbud Gaima II after the SOCA.
(I can vouch that all of it is true because we also documented it, and in some of the instances of the operations, we were there. If we don't have it, because our workforce in MILG is limited, they provide us with data. So that's very legit, and you also noticed that it's not only for the Marawi and Lanao del Sur-MILG but the regional level.)
Gaima said his office will continue to support the city government's goals and aspirations.

Bae Raisalam Tindug, a councilor of Barangay Papandayan, shared her gratitude to the city government for its continuous efforts to make the city even more beautiful, as she believes that this is not just beneficial to the City but to the constituents as well.
To show her support for the advocacies and aspirations of the city government, she shared that as a barangay councilor, she will help spread peace and order in their barangay.
"Kami po ay nagre-recorrida sa aming mga purok para ipahiwatig sa kanila yung peace and order at saka isugpo yung illegal activities at isulong yung mga kagandahan at kabutihan ng aming barangay at sa kalahatan ng Marawi City," she said.
