OIC-regional director of PSA Western Visayas Nelida C. Amolar in her message during the turnover ceremony of the CBMS in the towns of Libertad, Sebaste, and Culasi, emphasized the need to implement the provisions of RA 11315 in which PSA is the lead agency.

Amolar with the chief statistical specialist of PSA Antique Randy Tacogdoy turned over the CBMS data to mayor January Padpad of Sebaste, mayor Jeffrey Lomugdang of Culasi, and the representative of mayor Mary Jean N. Te of Libertad with the presentation of highlights on the CBMS results presented to the coordinating board and community representatives.

Likewise, Tacogdoy encouraged the partner stakeholders to use the data available as a basis for the formulation of sustainable and equitable strategies for development.

“Let us work towards a more sustainable, equitable, and inclusive community that values the use of data in effectively providing better quality and efficiency in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating government services,” he added.
