CATARMAN, Northern Samar -- The Department of Public Works and Highways - Northern Samar First District Engineering Office (DPWH-NSFDEO) continues its commitment to lend assistance to the Department of Education’s (DepEd) annual Brigada Eskwela activity.

"DPWH is in in full support for the Department of Education Program “Oplan Balik Eskwela” in preparation for the face-to-face classes for SY 2022-2023," said Villena.

The district office has already assisted 15 elementary and high schools within the jurisdiction and rendered school grounds improvement, grass cutting, landscaping, trimming of trees and plants, among others. 

This year’s theme, “Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral,” highlighted the country’s collective efforts from various partnership engagements in the local and national level to address learning gaps and social issues.

District Engineer Villena committed to continuously help and support DepEd's yearly activity in providing safe and convenient learning environment for students, teaching and nonteaching personnel, and community for the achievement of quality basic education. (AAP/DPWH-NSFDEO)
