The Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro recently launched the Travel Oriental Mindoro mobile application and website to push f digital innovation in travel and tourism promotion in the province.
Provincial Administrator Hubbert Christopher A. Dolor said the digital innovation is comprised of mobile and web-based applications that will serve as an easy-to-use platform that will allow users to find up-to-date information on their favorite tourist attractions in the province.
“It will be the tourists’ official travel companion in Oriental Mindoro as it will also provide access to verified information and the latest travel advisories,” said Dolor.
The website can be accessed by browsing at URL: www.travelorientalmindoro.ph, or downloading the Travel Oriental Mindoro app from the Apple Store and Google Play for free.
The ‘Lakbay Oriental Mindoro’ mobile application is an advocacy of the Provincial Tourism Office for travelers and tourists not only to enjoy just one destination but to experience more than one tourism destination in the province as it features tourism destinations of the 14 municipalities and one city.
The provincial government has tied up with national government agencies, local government units and civic organizations for the digital transformation of Lakbay Oriental Mindoro Tourism Circuit project – Travel Oriental Mindoro.
