Joe Torres is the 21st Director-General of the Philippine Information Agency. He has been a journalist for over three decades with assignments in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. A two-time recipient of the Philippines’ National Book Award for Journalism, "DG Joe" has been a recipient of fellowships and awards from various government and civil society organizations in the country and abroad.
