Philippine Information Agency Director-General Jose A. Torres, Jr. attended the 20th Meeting of ASEAN Senior Officials Responsible for Information (SOMRI) held on September 20, 2023 in Da Nang, Viet Nam.
With the theme "Media: From Information to Knowledge for a Resilient and Responsive ASEAN, the said meeting aims to advance the role of media, as it not only provides information, but also contributes to the enhancement of knowledge and literacy for ASEAN citizens toward a more resilient and responsive ASEAN Community.
With DG Torres are PIA Assistant Director- General for Organizational Development and International Affairs Tadeo R. Culla, Focal Person for ASEAN and Planning and Communication Research Division Head Ann Lorraine B. Macadaeg, Creative and Production Services Division Head Bradley S. De Leon, PIA- NCR Regional Director Emver P. Cortez and DFA ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Division Director Lyza Maria S. Viejo.
