Peligro factors during holiday activities

The holidays are upon us. Shopping and parties are expected to happen since COVID-19 protocols are now more lenient compared to the past couple of years. Since December is Holiday Hazards Prevention Month, this is a great chance to advise everyone to still adhere to Minimum Public Health Standards in the middle of festivities and in doing their Christmas shopping.

Party hosts and organizers should always consider the number of people who would attend the party. We know that crowded spaces, especially indoors, can post a risk for infection among the attendees. Also, the venue should be spacious enough for free air flow and for everyone to enjoy while keeping safe distance from other people in the area.

Activities during the party should be safe enough and should not potentially put a person at risk of getting infected by COVID-19 and other illnesses.

Let us enjoy safely during the holiday season! Be informed of more ways to prevent COVID-19. Visit the website of Department of Health: www.doh.gov.ph
