This year marks the eight anniversary of the fateful operation known as "Oplan Exodus," which took the lives of 44 SAF troopers on January 25, 2015 in Mamasapano, Maguindanao and the 25th of January is designated as the National Day of Remembrance for the valiant SAF 44.

With the theme "Legacy of Heroes: Inspiration for Future Generations," let us remember the valiant sacrifice of the 44 Philippine National Police - Special Action Force (PNP - SAF) troopers who gave their lives to keep the country safe and secure.
