Undoubtedly, coffee is among the leading beverages in the world, and among Filipinos. In the Philippines, more than a third of coffee production are contributed by growers in SOCCSKSARGEN Region or Region 12. Notably, the bulk of Soccsksargen's coffee yield -- nearly 90 percent -- comes from plants grown in Sultan Kudarat Province. This, according to the region's Regional Development Council, befits the title "Coffee Capital of the Philippines" for the Province of Sultan Kudarat.
